Accounts and applications for access
Access to the Apogee platform is by invitation. When you create an account or apply for access, we collect:
- your email address, and the password you choose, which is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form;
- your full legal name;
- if you are applying for access, your date of birth and your postal address (street, city, state or region, postal code and country);
- your electronic signature on the Apogee Confidential Access Agreement: the name you typed, the date and time, and the version of the agreement you signed;
- the IP address and browser you used, and a record of each time you sign in.
Age requirement, and why we ask for your date of birth and address
You must be at least 18 years old to apply for access or hold an account. We ask for your date of birth to confirm that you are. We ask for your address to verify who is asking for access to confidential business information and to identify the person entering into the Confidential Access Agreement.
By submitting an application you confirm that the name, date of birth and address you give are your own and are accurate. Giving false details is grounds for refusing or ending access.
This information is used only to review your application and to administer and enforce the agreement you sign. It is not used for marketing, and it is not sold or shared with other users of the platform.
Who can see it
Your date of birth and address are visible only to the administrator at Ghost Publishing & Holdings LLC who reviews applications. Other people with access to the platform cannot see them.
How long we keep it
For as long as your application is under review or your access is active, and afterwards for as long as we need a record of the agreement you signed or are required to keep it by law. If your application is not approved, you may ask us to delete the details you gave.
Activity on the platform
As the Confidential Access Agreement states, access and activity on the platform may be logged and monitored, including IP address, device information, timestamps and actions taken. Questions you ask the built-in assistant are processed to answer them and may be saved to your account so you can return to them; you can delete saved conversations yourself.
What the inquiry form collects
Your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your venue or company, your role, an event date, a budget range, artists of interest, and your message. We use them to respond to your booking inquiry.
Your choices and contact
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to Admin@ghostpublishing.net.
